This week's potato is 'Novella'; a variety we've not sold before. it's a 'salad' potato which means it has a firmish waxy textured flesh which holds together well when boiled. The cabbages are Yorkshire grown; a hardy winter variety 'Tundra'. The leeks are from the same farm and the 'Crown Prince ' squash was grown on our own patch in Sheffield. The apples are from Kent; two excellent late varieties 'Santana' and the smaller and more rustic looking 'Rudford Russet'.
