With the mild weather we're able to use more local produce than we'd expect at this time of year. At the request of the grower we're having another batch of local purple sprouting broccoli; it's growing well now but a cold snap will damage the heads. Also Yorkshire grown are the leeks and white turnips. This week's potatoes are 'Kestrel'; a decent all-rounder and very nice roasted and baked.
