Firstly, may we take this opportunity to wish all our customers a Happy Easter. Today has been lovely and sunny but in traditional UK Bank Holiday style the forecast is not too great for the rest of the weekend. But never mind stay in if the weather is rough and make something beautiful to eat!
Here are the lists for next week. Once again the usual provisos regarding last minute changes and, what with the weekend being one of disruption to normal working schedules there may well be some adjustments that have to be made. Tuesday customers may find their delivery happens a little later than usual, because the delivery of produce to us is also happening later…
B’s will get Parsnips 600g instead of the potatoes
D’s will get an additional 800g Potatoes and a bag of Spring Cabbage
E will get the Parsnips and a Lettuce
L’s M – will get the above additions and Courgettes 400g and a bulb of Garlic
Q – Kiwis 500g and Blood Oranges 300g
Just a quick reminder that plans for the Beanies 30th Anniversary Bike Ride – a 30 mile jaunt to Penistone and back (with options for joining late or finishing early) – are very much in hand. It will take place on May 15th 2016, meeting in the Ponderosa at 9.00am for a 9.30 departure.
Do sign up in the shop if you’d like to come just to give us an idea of numbers. So far there are about 30 people signed up so it should be a very sociable and enjoyable day out. The route has been planned and will be supervised and much of it will be on the Trans Pennine Trail – lovely countryside and generally safe riding. If you’d like more details do come in and pick up a leaflet.
